I am 20 y-o and normally have reg cycle. My friend told me that since I haven't had my period for about 3 months and my pregnancy urine test from planned parenthood are all neg that there is still a chance that i could be pregnant. That my body could be changing/ reproducing and that I should get a blood test and I dont know for sure. But I remember getting a gyn exam and they checked to see if I was through the exam but no blood test, but is it still possible???
I have no insurance at the moment which makes it very imposibble for me to find out what is going on with my body.

doctors I go to in nyc wouldn't give me a blood test unless I have insurance and the planned parenthoodinsurance is limited for me. I have to wait about 45 days for my actual insurance to get a check-up

Sweetie, you can go to a free clinic and get any kind of pregnancy confirmation you need! You don't NEED to have insurance. I suggest you do so and put your mind at ease. Good luck, Baby.

It is very important for you to be seen if you question a possible pregnancy at all! The first three months are the most crucial. This is when the fetus is being formed and birth defects happen then. It's weird if you think about it; by twelve weeks gestation, there is a completely formed baby but it's very small. I would go back to Planned Parenthood and have them give you another pelvic exam. Your cervix will turn a bluish, purple color if you are truly pregnant. Plus by now, they should also be able feel your uterus just coming over your pelvic bone. It is possible, that since you have no insurance, and for any other reason, you could be over worrying and throwing your cycle off. To be on the safe side, stay away from anything harmful to a possible baby, until you can be seen. Good Luck!

no...if you have taken the over the counter test and had an exam you cannot be pregnant. The HCG levels in your blood should be high enough to get a definate positive by now. Plus by three months you would be able to notice the changes of pregnancy some...such as sore nipples. Some people do actually don't notice that they are pregnant for a few months...but that is usually because they are not looking. I was only 2 weeks pregnant and I still got a positive on my pregnancy test...though it was light and hard to tell then. You might look into stress or other factors as to why you don't have a period.

Well you could be pregnant usually you can get a positive five days after implantation. Which would mean you should have gotten a positive a while ago. However, in some women the hormone levels aren't always high enough to detect so you would need a blood test. In the mean time do not drink or smoke just to be on the safe side. In my opinion if you had an exam and they determined you were not pregnant they you probably aren't because they can tell as your cervix would be closed. Also stress can make you miss periods and thinking your pregnant can also make you miss periods. So its kinda 50/50. Good luck!

With no insurance this could be tricky, but it's better to be safe then sorry, and if you can swing it try getting an exam.
However, if even the planned parenthood test came back negative I wouldn't be so worried.
A few years back I was under a ton of stress and it caused my period to not come for about 4 months. So take a couple of deep breaths and don't freak out too much yet.

5 adverse being pregnant checks, if finished the right way, factors at a unique course perchance except being pregnant. on the prompt, from adventure, i might want to ought to decline. there are a tremendous variety of factors that could want to correctly be causing you to haven't any menses for 3 months. because you probably did not aspect out it, age can be a element, yet i'm guessing you're nevertheless no longer at that level. Others might want to correctly be a hormonal imbalance, an infection, extreme weight-reduction plan, stress, a a threat danger of being pregnant, in case you probably did those 5 urine checks incorrectly, etc etc.. maximum perfect element so that you'll be able to do is search for suggestion from an OB-Gyn, as there might want to be an underlying venture or that you may want to correctly be pregnant, or maybe no venture in any respect.

Gurl I have been there done that, all it is, is just an irregular period. I was 16 and skipped 6 months and still a virgin and my mother still thought I was pregnant. If you go to the doctor they might consider birth control. I know I turned it down I just want my body to be natural. But that is a sign that you would be hard to get pregnant!!!! Just go to your County Health Department they might force you to go on birth control but you don't have to just get them and don't take them. And when you get a pap you know when it feels like they are in your stomach they check your womb. that is how they check if you are pregnant i can help you out more just email me and i can help!!!
