What is the difference between clams, oysters, and mussles?

They are 2 shelled mollusks. Some Clams (depending on the species) live in fresh water. Others are marine. And a few can live in either fresh or salt water. Almost all oysters are marine and almost all mussels are freshwater. Other than where they live they have similar lifestyles.

These are just different species of bivalve mollusks.
