I'm wondering if loosening up the built up whatever in your feet can contaminate other parts of your body making you feel ill the next day? I'm drinking lots of water as recommended, but maybe I am just coming down with something that's going around...

Yes honey it ususally does.

Reflexology breaks down the KNOTS in your muscles, when this happens a TOXIN is released into your system. This toxin comes OUT of the knots as they break down.

You should drink 1/2 gal. of water IMMEDIATELY before reflexology and 1/2 gal. after. However, you also need to rest & take it EASY. Getting up and cleaning house, for exapmple, only makes the toxins run through your blood stream faster.

The day after a treatment drink only CLEAR FLUIDS, such as white grape juice, apple, and cranberry. This will help to replace the toxins with good vitamins and fluid.

And REMEMBER ... This is something that is released into your body and blood stream, so you want to unrinate as often as possible to get RID of the toxins as waste.

Blessings & Peace,
Jewel

It does not just stimulate the feet. It stimulates the meridians which go all over the body and terminate in the feet. Yes you can feel bad from a toxin release after reflexology.

Reflexology is used to unblock energy in the meridians of the body. When the energy flows again the body heals. The healing process takes extra energy. So more water and rest.

Assuming that everthing has to do with the reflexology, this "ill" feeling is just the way your body is working to discard the waste. As you continue to do the reflexology, the symptoms should go away and ultimately, your health should improve.
