When will this movie ever come out?
Its been hyped and rumored for a long time.

That's the million dollar question. They've been saying for the past four or five years that they want to make a second X Files movie, but when they will is beyond me, or anyone, for that matter. A script hasn't been written and they don't have a production date. They don't even really have a solid idea, though they have said that this movie will be based on one X File and not the whole "government conspiracy" thing. The only thing that we do know for sure is that Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny have both agreed to be in the movie, whenever it starts production. As far as the movie start date, it's anyone's best guess, really. I just hope that it's soon, 'cause I've been itching to see some new X Files action for a while!

I haven't heard about it. I wouldn't think they would do a movie now that the series has ended. It probably was just a conspiracy!!!!!

No one really knows when it will start production, if at all.
It's all speculation at this point.
