are you connected by high speed, or by dial up? If you're conected by high speed (DSL or Cable) you can get a device called a ROUTER that you plug your internet connection (modem) into one slot, and you can plug multiple computers into the other slots. It allows you to split the internet connection between computers. I have a NetGear brand router that splits my connection between two computers. If you have dial up, you have to get a special program from the provider to access the dial up on his computer.

Just load the provider from the CD you must have.

I don't know that you can both access the dial-up simultaneously, so you two will have to work to accommodate each other.

i would buy a wireless router, but if you're still using dial-up you'll have to upgrade to something else first
