I washed red cotton placemats with winter jackets that had white on the outer shell. The jackets are nylon. Any suggestions on how to get the pink out?

Don't put the jacket in the dryer yet. (Could be too late by now?) This is a toughie because we don't know what kind of dye it is. Let's go with oxidation. Chlorine bleach won't be good for nylon, but try a non-chlorine bleach or laundry detergent, perhaps one with a perborate.

Another thought is to wash it with something that will bleed a bit of green so that you end up with a tan jacket instead of a pink one.

wash it with some green dye and it will turn the jacket from pink to beige.

You can try to bleach it, but only use a small amount. If you use too much bleach it will eat the fabric.
