Im a big shaq fan during the late magic years to the lakers dynasty to the recent years in miami, but do you think its time for him to retire? I hear some people I know saying he should retire before its too late, so he can keep his legacy on a high note. We dont know when Pat Riley is coming back, the heat look way different from last year, but I still believe this team can pull it and make it to the postseason. also do you guys think the heat is getting to old?
the players they have like ( walker and payton) is it time for the heat to make some changes in the future( next year). What do you guys think?

Shaq retiring would depend on what kind of offseason he has. He's coming off of knee surgery, which is tough for bigs to come back from. I wouldn't be surprised if his play is subpar for the rest of the season beecause of it. If he's able to have a successful rehab over the summer, I see no reason why he can't come back and be effective.

Yes, the heat are too old. They are one of the oldest teams in the league, which wouldn't be so bad if their more veteran players were consistant, but guys like Walker and Payton really aren't. They do need to build for the future and get guys who can grow beside DWade for years to come.

He should. He probably won't as he is pretty greedy. It's not he will become a brain surgeon after he retires. He will probably play until he can't walk. Heat are a one-and-done.
Shaq will go down as an all-time great but he is overrated, playing in a weak era for centers. Other centers were better.

I agree. Get rid of some of those old guys, but keep Shaq for 1 last season.

i'm hoping he won't bypass away quickly in spite of the undeniable fact that.. I did love him whilst he grew to become into in the Lakers and he remains an ok participant in Miami now. If Shaq ever is going lower back to Lakers we would desire to continually nonetheless have like 10 greater years of Shaq LOL

He should retire, but I know he won't. Like you know how Karl Malone waited till 2004? He should have retired when John Stockton retired! But anyways, he will probably play three more seasons or so. No more than five more seasons.

well if they get bounced out early or dont make the playoffs, i think shaq is done and on his way to becoming a cop.
