This is the disgrace that human gluttony and environmental ruin have brought to the earth's most noble creatures. (We then do such counterproductive things as deny global warming and claim innocence from the disgusting state of our environment.)

I feel man is raping the land in the name of progress.Forest are being destroyed to build houses and stores.Abandoned structures bread all sorts of vermin but man does nothing but will cut down hundreds of acres of woodlands to build houses because they are too lazy to clean up the old structures and build on them.
Our wild life suffers and once proud symbols have to become scavengers.Look on the poadways at the dead animals, armadillos, possums, deer and the list goes on.It is mans rape of the land and distruction of the earth that is bring the end .

The power transmission lines were really the only human involvement in this story, depending I guess on how the deer was killed. While the bald eagle symbolizes freedom that most of us will never know, and a power and strength to match, they are scavengers as well as predators. Do some research on the bald eagle. They would just as soon eat something they find that is already dead with some meat on it, than kill something to eat. I lived in Montana for quite awhile, and you would see many bald eagles feeding on the carcasses of deer killed by logging trucks. This was not because there was nothing else in the forest for them to eat, it was because this was easier and required less energy on their part. Bald eagles eat dead deer in America every day. That is the reality. If people were not on earth, the bald eagle would probably still eat dead deer.

Global warming has little to do with some @$$hole killing a deer and throwing its head away. But your point is noted. We as humans tend to crap in our own environment.

nope, doesn't bother me- bald eagles are opportunists anyways, they mostly eat fish but are not above scavenging to survive..why would you have a problem with that? scavengers are a much needed part of the "global society" without them, we would all be waist deep in waste

eagles are scavengers they are doing what they do. so far as global warming...there are as many experts that disagree with the theory and data to back it up as those who say it exists.
