How many purses do you girls have?

Why do you carry so many purses? Why are you wasting your money on purses. I bet half of them you have never used. and dont give me this about a different purse for a different occasion

Have to have one of every color to match the outfits duhhhh! You complain yet you get whip lash staring at us so hard as we walk by with our oh so many different purses.

I was just walking around in Fred Meyers with my husband the other day...asking him, "Don't you think these big purses look stupid??" I don't get why girls carry'em. Yes, I'm a woman...but I use a 'fanny pack.' Why? Because a long time ago, I set my purse, with my rent and money for bills, I.D. and everything on top of my car, while putting my babies in the car, and drove off! No way will I ever buy another purse again. The other reason is, because at Theme Parks, you can't ride the rides, unless you lock your 'purse' miles away across the theme park...I also don't like the one's that are 'open', because I toss my stuff on the floor, and if I did that with one of those purses-everything would fly out! You can collect way too much junk in them too. Some people want one to match every outfit, but be realistic how many real women do you know of who are rich enough to buy a purse to go with every outfit? Then you'd have to move all your STUFF into another purse...NO WAY, FORGET IT....I think those big, bulky things look ridiculous, weigh down your shoulder, take up too much room....I like the leather fanny packs..keeps your stuff dry, is small, you can toss it around and your stuff ain't gonna fall out....lol...okay, so there's my opinion!

I have about thirteen. we carry them to keep all of our stuff in...wallets, check book, brush, makeup, drinks, my kids toys... I like that I can wear different purses to match different outfits. I never spend more than $20 a purse. I sometimes even shop at thrift stores for them. I found a really cute one for $3 not that long ago. For a women it feels good to go into a store a pick something up that you love and not have to feel fat when it doesn't fit you right.

well i only carry one at a time but last count was well over 50 and lets not even get into the shoe count. but if you are going to bring up the topic of girls and handbags, (and the correct term is handbags btw) why don't we talk about guys and how they waste money upgrading to new video game systems? 700 to play some games? and that is just the system, that doesnt include the controllers or the actual games. talk about a waste of time and money...
at least my handbag serves more than one purpose, it completes my outfit and carries my valuables. plus i never hear my fiance complain when i carry his water bottle if we are doing a lot of walking...
besides if it makes us happy, why question it?

Well, I have about 7 of them. I don't think it's a waste of money and I use all of my purses. I have a black and a brown one that I use for like everyday things and I have dressier ones that I use for church or special occasions.

I have 5 tote bags for school and I use them all. I have quite a few purses, more than 6 and I use them all the time pretty much.

Well, it's true- you don't wear a sequined purse to work and you don't take a denim bag to a formal party. I have about 5 or 6 at the moment. :D

Right now I have about 11 or 12. BUT i bought them over a span of 3 years. Girls have them because it's both a necessity and an accessory. It's kind of like asking a guy why they own so many hats and shoes.

I only have 9 and I'm going to get more. I used to sell the old ones I don't like anymore, but now I'm married and my husband get them engraved with my name so I have to keep them. He bought me the last 4 purses.
