I am currently taking my medical associate degree in medical clinic administration. I am just one semester away from graduating. But I found out I got Hepatitis B and an carrier. They are kicking me out because I have it. Is it possible that I can fight legally to stay in the college and receive my degree?

you might be able to get the degree, but dont forget once you graduate you might have trouble
getting past the state licenses you will need to work anywhere. i cant imagine them allowing a healthcare worker to work around patients if there was any risk at all. but my mom is a RN that has a severe latex allergy so she cant work in hospitals. she has had a long career working over the phone doing triage referral to doctors within a network. there are other jobs that would allow you to work w/o putting any patients at risk. so why should they not let you get your degree ? unless they dont want a student on campus that is contagious. if there isnt a risk though why are they trippin. good luck. if they give you a really hard time, threaten to bite them. fyi there are alot of legal eagles in colleges just dying to try out their new knowledge on the ''man'' on their quest to save the world. so check your schools resources available to you. i bet you anything, especially if its a state U., or if they have law majors. even if your school dosent have any free legal help, if you look a little youll find a program somewhere
in your area. good luck. are you going to get interferon traetments now ?
