I am no way anti-semtic, I don't care what you might say, but how many people has Israel killed in its endeavor to be a part of the Middle East. What I mean is we hear about how many people are killed by suicide bombers and terrorists inside Israel, a terrible crime against humanity, but how often do we hear about those people killed by Israel's retributions because of these attacks? And if we do, it just seems to be glossed over, at least to me it is. So I wanted to pose a question: How many Palestinians have been killed by Israel's attacks and reprisals? I think it is a question worth posing in that we need to see a different side to a war that it seems we only know half the story about. All we hear about is what is happening to Israel, but why not the Palestinians' side. The U.S. and Britian just decided to haphazardly divide the Middle East to suit them, regardless of the consequences, after WWII. Don't they deserve a voice too? Come on, flame me, but I don't care.

You have indeed asked a very controversial question, but it is also a question that deserves true consideration.

While U.S. media outlets do report on Israeli strikes against targets outside Israel and on the deaths they cause, I agree that those same reports tend to be much shorter than the ones about attacks against Israel.

We in the U.S. don't hear the Palestinian side very often simply because there have been no Palestinian leaders that the United States government trusted. Yasser Arafat has been the de facto leader of the Palestinians for decades, but no western nation recognizes him as anything other than a military figure, hence he has no diplomatic standing anywhere. Too often the only Palestinian view we get comes from those advocating terrorism, and that does not present a true picture. Why media organizations don't make a better effort to present both sides of the conflict is a question only they can answer.

So I will join you in allowing myself to be "flamed" by those who choose not to hear from both sides of any conflict. There is at least one website out there which is dedicated to the Palestinian point of view, and I suppose we should both be willing to find it and pass on the link to others willing to learn something.

You need to educate yourself. Look at a map. Israel is a tiny country totally surrounded by terrorist controlled countries whose goal is to annihilate it. They have sent in suicide bombers and missiles time after time. Have you ever heard of an Israeli suicide bomber? Do they have the right to protect themselves? To exist? Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and the only ally the US has there. The terrorists who vow to destroy Israel are the same terrorists who want to destroy us. Wake up and figure it out.

Imperialist Britain has promised Jewish state in 1917. This was success of Zionist movement. This was a great blunder in the history of Imperialist Britain.
World atmosphere has completely changed. We need peace and prosperity. We should spend all our energies to the welfare of people in the area. History is past. Only peace ,love, mutual trust can bring dramatic change in the lives of people in Jews and Arabs settled there.

israel in fact organized the first terrorist campaigns in the lead up to its independence. its a well documented fact that later leaders of israel were part of terrorist organizations that sought to kick out the palestinians. the reason for early israeli success in its war for independence is that the jews had planned out the war long before they were officially granted independence. but that's evened out over the years due to heavy arab support for terrorism.
how long will it be before the west (America) stops supplying Israel with weaponry on one hand and sending 'aid' money to Arab dictatorships that support jihadists on the other.
