Freud..he was the father of psychology.
Jung learned from Freud as Freud did not want psychology to be just a Jewish science so he had to have Jung to make his baby grow. Jung had a different approach to the field of psychology and Freud did change his opinions on a lot of things but as he got more data he increased in his art.
Both were astounding but Jung was always a lesser man in my opinion..

I don't agree with all of Freud's theories but I think he was the smarter of the two.
Freud has so many theories that are evident in everyday human behavior. I have never agreed with the Oedipus complex but the ID, Ego, and Superego are extremly relevant and a fine description of how the personality is split up and how it works.
Additionally, Freud's interpretation on dream analysis is very interesting and also holds many truths.
