My friend told me that since I haven't had my period for about 3 months and my pregnancy urine test are all neg that there is still a chance that i could be pregnant. That my body could be changing/ reproducing and that I should get a blood test and I dont know for sure. But I remember getting a gyn exam and they checked to see if I was through the exam but no blood test, but is it still possible???

Go back to your doctor. Get a blood test to make sure. You are probably not pregnant but this does need to be looked into. There are several other reasons you may not be having a period. They should test your hormones as well as your hcg level (for pregnancy) to try and figure out what is happening.
Good luck.

5 negative pregnancy tests, if done the right way, points at a different direction maybe other than pregnancy. Right now, from experience, I would have to say no. There are a lot of factors that can be causing you to have no menses for 3 months. Since you didn't indicate it, age can be a factor, but I'm guessing you are still not at that stage. Others could be a hormonal imbalance, infection, extreme dieting, stress, a possible chance of pregnancy, if you did those 5 urine tests incorrectly, and so on and so forth..

Best thing for you to do is consult an OB-Gyn, as there can be an underlying problem or that you may actually be pregnant, or maybe no problem at all.

Thanks for asking this question! Girl I am going through the same exact thing! My last period was October 23, I have failed numerous otc pregnancy tests. I go in tommorow to check whats going on, I hope that I am, and I hope you are to if you wish to be!! Go get a blood test I think because it will be more accurate, then if you are you need to start prenatals and stuff. Good Luck!!

Yes you could be. I would also suggest the blood test. You should also be having other symptoms after 3 months, weight gain or morning sickness. See your doctor for a test and good luck to you. Remember early care is very important if you are pregnant.

You may not be pregnant but you really need see your gynocologist to see if there is a problem there can be numerous problems and you hopefully dont want to wait to tell your doc you have missed your period for 3 months. Go and talk to the doctor as soon as possible. Good luck.

I'm just going on a hunch but after 5 tests and 3 months late, if your old enough it could be menopause. but if not i suggest you go see a "endocrinologist" hormone doctor. about 2 years ago i was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor, i stopped getting my period for about 4 months and went to the gyno they gave me meds that didn't do anything then i saw an endo and he gave me meds and took an MRI of the brain and discovered it. it is a very common tumor, nothing to really worry about. but i would definitely look into it.

It would be rare that you took 5 and all of them neg to be pregnant. You should seek professional advise there are a lot of other health reasons why you have missed so many periods.

Also planned parenthood performs paps and cultures if you were 3 months pregnant they would have noticed changes in the appearance of your cervix and they can feel if your uterus is enlarged.

It;s possible. U might have used a faulty tester. . .r u going through menopause? . . .preg. tests are only 99% accurate or less. there is still the 1 % for error. Maybe u used a faulty set of testers. get a pro test. immediately.

Listen to Victoria m and shacoll they have a point, you said they did a exam when you were there is this was during the 3 months you did not have it? If you were pg they would have been able to tell through the exam.

Have a blood test done. Whats it going to hurt? If its negative, then see your Dr about your unusual cycles.
