Hell yes it's hard being a mom whether you are a teen or not!

Waking up with a screaming baby every 2-4 hours all through the night. Changing diapers every couple hours. And it's pure hell when they get sick. Not to mention they are EXPENSIVE. Add all that plus a ton more hard knocks of being a mom with trying to get and education, and being immature, there you have a very HARD life.

You are doing nothing wrong by waiting. More like doing everything right. If only all teens had that mentality. This world would be a better place.

wait till your married I'm 26 and have a great little one-year old and a good husband, it is still challenging at times but life is good, i babysit during the day for a single friend who is 23 and a teacher and she is at her wits end. she loves her son but she never gets a break , there is no one to help her, to take turns in the middle of the night getting up with the baby, no second income. Go get a college ed and get married when your mature enough to handle it and start a happy little family, it make all the difference. sorry this went on so long. email me if you like i would like to talk to you!!! :)

Yes.. it is extremely hard being a teen age mom. I watched my best friend.. go to school.. work 2 jobs and still graduate with Honors. She struggled.. but she was determined to make something of herself. She also got married before she graduated. She has 4 kids now and made it through college and has a degree. But there are so many girls out there that get pregnant.. only wanting to be loved.. to them having a child will make think they are loved. Low self esteem issues are a big factor on pregnant teens also. Many of these girls are in need of attention and are reaching out and end up getting pregnant. Call it crazy.. yes.. it seems crazy. But look at the ones who are pregnant and analyze them.. most of them will be from a broken home.. divorced parents.. my best friend.. my sister in law.. she also got pregnant in high school.. she quit school and got her GED and went to college and got her degree as well. But it was very difficult. Both of them were from broken home and both of their parents were divorced. It's not always the case.. but most of the time.. there is a hidden factor to teenage pregnancies. Make sure you take care of yourself.. You seem to know how you want your life to be.. keep in the order you have now.. finish high school.. go to college.. get a awesome job.. settle down.. get married and have a wonderful family.. Good luck!!

I think you are very smart to think that way girls now adays are trying to grow up to soon instead of enjoying there younger days.B/c they want someone to love them and a man will be a man and tell the girl what they want to hear so they will sleep with them and than the next thing they know there having a baby. And than the guy doesnt want to be a man anymore b/c he got what he wanted and we all know it was not the baby.It is not normal its the way the world has turned and children are being hurt in the process. Be safe stay smart.

Yes children today are out of control it is because it is becomeing more and more common for this to happen that more and more people are not thinking it is wrong to have sex at younger ages and they end up pregnant. They all think "ohh that is not going to be me" and then OH it is. Yes it is VERY VERY hard to be a teenage mom but they are not thinking about that they are thinking it is cool to act grown up and have sex. I am happy to hear that you understand this and are not wanting to be a mom yet yes wait it is better. It shouldn't be normal and yet it is becomeing so.

yes they are crazy. and yes it is har dto be a teenage mom. Heck I was an adult over the age of 21 and a college student when I had my 1st child and it was tough. An old friend of mine we were 14 and she had a daughter and it was tough for us to hang out and do anything unless we planned to have her daughter with us.

I dont know what had gotten into the little fast tail girls these days

i think that yes, girls are crazy... but can you blame it just on the girl? guys are just as much to blame when it comes to getting a girl pregnant. it takes two to tango. kids are just irresponsible, and they have no idea what a huge thing it is to have kids.
you have the right idea about waiting until you are old enough and ready. take your time! and if your gonna have sex, always use protection! some girls try to get pregnant so they can get money from the guy. be careful.

You can't change the people around you. Just focus on your future and don't let any guy come around and cloud your judgement. The girls aren't getting themselves pregnant so there are a lot of reckless young men out there too. And crazy parents perhaps for not giving better guidance and supervision.

Unfortunately it happens alot now days. But there really aren't any consequences for it, for example, free babysitting at school, free college tuition, more $ on tax returns, free medical, welfare, and for a lot of girls I know who had babies REALLY young, their parents watch them more than they do so they can go to the bar every night. Then the kids grow up to be terrors and young mothers because there were never any limits and morals applied to them. Sometimes I regret waiting to have kids because now I can't afford to go to school and it's hard to get into the program I want, if I was a young single mother I wouldn't have to worry, and that's just f#*@ed up!!

ok first of all, girls are and always have been crazy, second of all, teens/young adults think they are being careful but **** happens or they just dont care and really want a baby thinking they will beable to take care of it or the person who got them pregnant will stay with them which sometimes happens but most likely they will just leave and say its not their baby
