Don't be selfish. This is just the begining of making sacrafices for your child, get used to it.

I'm sorry you're having such a bad time. Please don't think it's a 'bad thought'; it's OK to feel how you're feeling.

No doctor is likely to enable you to give birth this prematurely unless it's the only way to keep you/your baby alive, because of the risks to the baby of being born premature. But I think you should talk to your doctor, or to someone else you trust, about how miserable and low you're feeling. Is it that you're feeling physically unwell? If so, maybe there's something the doctor can suggest to make you feel more comfortable. Or are you feeling emotionally bad? This could be hormonal, or it could be the result of other factors in your life, problems that need resolving, relationship difficulties, whatever.

My suggestion is that you take the next few weeks to get help from your doctor, friends, and family, to get mentally and physically prepared for the baby's arrival. Get any treatment you need. Get everyone to pamper you, and try to relax. I won't say 'enjoy your pregnancy', because clearly you aren't enjoying it at all; and that's OK. Your body is going through a huge change - you're literally growing another person, which is an incredible thing, and you're bound to feel overwhelmed. But try not to panic, try to relax, and know that everything will be OK.

Best wishes!

MOST dr's will not induce unless u have health problems putting the baby at risk. For example, My friend has a condition where her placenta ages rapidly in her last month so her babies are always induces.....but never more than 2 weeks b/f her due date. I remember how I felt with my son. I started having contractions when I was around 30 weeks and they made me turn on my side and said if they didn't stop they were going to give me something to stop it. So to answer your question. No. it isn't wrong to wish your pregnancy was over already. But it would be wrong to ask the Dr. to induse this early....Not that he would, but anyway. Congratulations and Good Luck.

EVERYONE gets sick of being pregnant towards the end and just want the baby NOW.
But the baby needs to born when it is fully developed, not just when you cant take it anymore. So relax calm down and just let nature take its course. Baby will arrive when it is good and ready and not a minute before.

Dr's will NOT induce you just because your tired of being pregnant as the baby will have too many risks. Why would you want a premature baby, its a really hard stuggle for them.
Maybe go to the hospital and ask if you can look at babies in the NICU , you will change your mind once you see how tiny they are and all the machines that they are hooked up to. It's very very sad to see thier tiny little bodies struggle so hard just to get one lungful of air.

well i dont think that its bad to want your baby born now, i mean with all the pains and stuff that you are and will be going through until she/he is born. i wanted my baby early too. but its not the best of choices at this point... honestly, i have been begging my doctor since i was about 36 weeks pregnant to induce me because the pains that i was haveing were just unbearable, almost to the point to where i couldnt walk AT ALL.... i am 38 1/2 weeks and my doctor still wont induce, so i highly doubt they will induce at 31 weeks.... sorry =/ i know the feeling though... good luck and i hope everything gets better.

No I don't think your doctor will do it the earlier you have your baby the more complications there can be. Your baby right now is not nearly developed enough and will have to spend alot of time in the hospital. It is very normal it gets uncomfortable to be pregnant in the later months. I was counting down the days. But trust me you will miss being pregnant. So just take one day at a time and just think about the positive things about being pregnant and that their is a life growing inside of you.

I am 30 weeks prego today..I totally understand the total miserable feeling. NO you should and could not get the baby early. If the doctor let you do that, he/she would have to have major malpractice insurance! Plus, your baby would have more chances to be too small and have health problems. The IQ could also be affected. It's only 9 weeks left compared to a lifetime of problems...Do you really want to risk it?
