I would like to prove to my friends that you can be aware you are dreaming. Is it possible to talk aloud while you are dreaming, so other people can here you?

I don't think it's possible to "prove" that lucid dreaming exists in this way. But it's an interesting idea. I believe there are mechanisms that can project dreams onto screens, and that these stand a better shot of proving that lucid dreams can happen.

You might try to learn sign language, and see if that part of your brain works while you're lucid dreaming. It's a lot of effort to prove to your friends, but it may come in handy some day!

You could also put a tape recorder with a 90 minute tape and VOX recording next to your bed. If you don't make too much other noise, it will only turn on when you start talking. Maybe with practice you can get some words through.

You can't will yourself to do that, but some people do narrate their dreams... only it comes out as gibberish.
