Love isn't about how you feel, it's how you behave. You promised to love, honor and cherish, not be IN love.

love is not a feeling it's a decision to stay with that person after the honeymoon part is over. yes i guess it is possible to fall out of love but you will just get that same thing in your next relationship after awhile since your basing it on a feeling and on conditions, and in every marriage there are going to be stormy times, and if u give up just because u don't feel love, u have missed the whole point in marriage and commitment.

I do not believe one can simply "fall out of love". I think that sometimes, when people have been married a few years the excitement starts to wear off and things may get hectic, their lives busy. Or possibly the love wasn't true to being with.

I don't think that it's possible. I think that when you love someone, when you like that person for who they are. When you marry the one person who knows all your crap but still smiles at you. I think that good stuff is for keeps. The point at which you can call it quits is NEVER. If it persists it wasn't what you thought it was or it never met your IDEA of what it could be. Both unfortunate and not fair,

I like Violet's answer. Love is not just a feeling, it's commitment too and action.

Love is not just about the honeymoon. It's about all of it. Don't waste a marriage because you are bored. Perhaps counseling is in order.

I dont believe so. I would think that perhaps one wasnt in love to begin with. But more like an infatuation. Once reality set in, the glow no longer held the original luster. ;)

honestly i ask myself that question all the time. i was with my man for 5years and he told me he fell out of love with me. i dont really think you fall out of love i just think maybe theres a need for space.i don t understand why you would be with someone for thsat long then all the sudden you fall out of love. maybe there was never really true strong feelings in the first place. im sure its possible but i think it would be extremly hard and emotional.

absolutely sometimes we think we are in love with someone but after being with them for a while we realize that we actually just love and adore the person but we are not actually in love with them.

I don't think you are falling out of love. I think you have exhausted the possibilities. if you don't know what that means, then LOOK IT UP.
