Both use dark magic to get their way, but Satan doesn't need a parrot to come up with a plan like marrying Jasmine and then killing the Sultan and her to become ruler. Satan would have thought of that himself and doesn't really need to become ruler of just one nation.

Jafar cannot be compared to Satan simply bcos Satan encompasses evrything thts evil & Jafar though a very bad person, is just a villian from a cartoon movie who gets defeated by a young lad.
