Titanc? Maybe Titanic? Saw it 5 times when it came out. Great movie. Really intense on the big screen when the ship goes down.

Historically, I have been fascinated by it as a child...I read big old dusty books about it as a child...researched it in encyclopedias but the movie focused on the romance and used the tragedy as a backdrop....now it's so iconic...only a fool would attempt to do it...maybe in 20 years or so...they will try again.

Oh yes it brings back painful family tragedy. My great grandparents was on that ship and only my great grandmother live to tell the tale of that once great ship named Titanic. There was only one seat left on the last lifeboat and my great grandfather Wu Fang Li decided to give it to my great grandmother Mai Ling Li which is holding my baby grandfather in her arms. He knew that this would be the last time he will see his family. His last words were, "Don't give up on your life Mai, You must go on and live a long happy and healthy life for the sake of our son. My heart will always be with you now and forever." After that the ship snap into half and he went down with Titanic. He give up his life to save the woman he love.

I thought it was okay but I didn't like all the attention being put on the love story....I think more of it should have focused on the actual tragedy, the ship, and more people in general than just a select few.

the orginal one was better. id didnt focus so much on any one couple. and it was too long.
