The best sprayer is on the 409 cleaner bottle. I haved bought many new spray bottles and they just dont match up- and i know after years of cleaning and mixing my own spray. Rinse the 409 bottle and sprayer will before using. I would caution you though- DO NOT mix any bleach with any cleaners- chlorine gas can be produced and it can hurt your lungs. I would even be very cautious about spraying your bleach mix- use it and leave the room fast and let it work. turn on the fan if in the bathroom.

We use bottles from the dollar store. All the parts in it are plastic. They work just fine after many fillings of Bleach and Water mixes. I am a housekeeper at a Quality Inn Hotel in Tennessee. We use bleach and water mixtures everyday. I have had a spray bottle now for just over a month and it still works like new.
Your Problem may be the amount of Bleach you are using. Try less bleach and the same amount of water. The more bleach you use doesn't always mean it cleans better. You can use a small amount of Bleach and it cleans just as well as a huge amount. Even if mixed with water. Hope I helped.

A dilute solution of bleach is a great sanitizer, and meets food service requirements. I keep a bottle of it handy, but as was mentioned above, the bleach corrodes the metal parts of the spray mechanism. I finally realized that I was too lazy to rinse my sprayer clean after every use. So I switched to a squeeze bottle plus a sponge. The squeeze bottle doesn't have any metal parts. I've not noticed any deterioration of the plastic parts, and I've been storing bleach diluted about 50-50 in this bottle for a couple years.
You probably know this, but for the benefit of other members, I point out that it is very practical to keep a diluted bleach solution. Using bleach straight from the manufacturer's bottle puts you at risk of getting white spots on your clothes or chemically burning organic materials.

There are industrial strength spray bottles sold at Lowes and Home Depot in the garden department that are really good. The ones with the green spongy grip on the sprayer part are the best. I worked at a Child Development Center and that's what they used for their bleach solution bottles. They lasted about 6 months. longer if you don't hang it by the spray nozzle. Good luck.

You can't let bleach live in the spray bottle, dear. It corrodes the spraybottles innards. You'll have to use the bleach solution then empty the bottle, flush it with water and dry it out.
The best spray bottle I have used is a Rubbermaid from Ace Hardware.

We have a cleaning service and the bleach eats away at the plastic spray mechanisms. What you could do is only put enough bleach and water that you are going to use then, and pour what you do not use in the toilet, helps to clean the bowl as well. Be sure to rinse out the sprayer when done. If you want an industrial strength sprayer, you need to go to your local janitorial supply store, they have chemical resistant sprayers and even have the pump sprayers where the spraying mechanism is metal,

I quit buying spray bottles. Instead use any empty cleaner bottle you have on hand. Sometimes when they quit working, running a little hot water over the nozzle opens it up and it should work again.

Why don't you just buy the Clorox Cleaner. It's already mixed for you with bleach and the sprayer it comes in lasts forever.
