Hi there

I have a Windows XP Professional and had a problem with my system 32 files, there is a system recovery on your CD if you have one. It didn't work for me so I had to uninstall my computer and reinstall it. Unless you have backed up your computer you most likely going to have to do what I did. Hope this is some help to you.

Try a "repair/install" using the original WinXP installation CD. It is a non-destructive repair of the operating system files (system32). Instructions on how to do this are on the Microsoft web site.
