Incorrect temperature (since it is now winter, even indoors the temps drop several degrees, don't forget) possibly. ONLY use a digital thermometer to get temp. readings. The 'dial' kind or stick on kind are NOT accurate. You can get digital thermometers at Wal-Mart or any garden center for about 10 dollars. Get the indoor/outdoor kind with a long wire/probe on it and put the probe on the cool side of the tank and then in the basking area. Basking area should be about 95 degrees...yes that is pretty hot, but they need the heat to metabolize/digest their food. CHECK THAT FIRST, the vet. will want to know the temps you are running in the tank if you have to take him in.
Also, could be about to shed, possible impaction/bowel obstruction, internal parasites (very common, if you have not had a fecal check performed, please DO IT), some type of infection....the list goes on. Oh, and if it is a female, it is possible she may be gravid (full of eggs) and no, she doesn't need a male to produce eggs, only to fertilize them. You will need to see your vet if temps don't correct your problem.
Also, veggies/fresh greens (NOT lettuce) are very important in the diet, please read more about them at www.anapsid.org. Beardies are omnivores, not strictly carnivorous.
Good luck,
amanda

when was the last time you changed your UVB/UVA bulb? if you have those things running 24/7 they loose the rays within 5 months, if you keep it on 12 hours a day, they loose it in 8-12 months, if you use us 8 hours a day they loose it in about a year. i cahnge my bulbs every 8 months. this actually could be the main reason your beardie stopped eating. you need to feed him more than crickets! beardies are omnivores meaning they need a set diet to get everything they need from both plants/fruits/veggies and insects. are you feeding him broccoli or cabbage? id avoid those. get a thermometer if you dont have one. make sure he has a cool side of the tank that is about 8-10 degrees F cooler than the hotter side which should be about 84-90. are you giving him water?

I would defiantly change your UVB/UVA light if it has not been changed in the last 6 months, even though its not burned out it may not be as effective as it used to be. are you using sand as a substrate? If so he could certainly be impacted and needs to go to the vet. You should defiantly take him to the vet, not eating will cause reptiles to go downhill very fast. Good luck I hope he will be ok!!!!

Mine stops eating when shedding. Could this be the reason? Or he could just fancy a change you didn't say how long he has gone without a meal. A few days tends not to be a problem.

Take him to the vet. I remember an Emergency Vets episode that was similar to this, the lizzard had an impacted bowel of some sort.
