What do you think the fastest car is?

the Ultima GTR is one of the fastest stock production cars. Granted, theyre mainly intended for track use (much like the radical SR8, which is also up there in speed), but they are streetable.

The weineck 780 ci cobra is probably up there too, simply because of its absolutely rediculous basis (granted, it would be slow on a racetrack simply because its just too fast)

the issue is, what is your definition of fast, and does it have to be street legal or not?

if non street legal, top speed is your "fast", the Thrust SSC hit over 700 MPH.

if you mean laptimes, Formula one cars are.

if you mean major manufacturers, than it could be about 15 different cars (maybe more), depending on what youre looking at.

if its 1/4 mile, top fuel dragsters finish in under 5 seconds.

it all just depends on what your meaning of fast is. The ultima i posted was an all around brutally fast car.


edit: and LOL at people saying the lamborghini, like lamborghini makes one car. theyve been around for over 40 years and have made tons of different models. if you mean the LP640, its not even close to being the fastest car out there, neither is any current production ferrari (enzo is out of production and FXX is not street legal). And the murcielago isnt even faster than several of its competitors, and compared to many cars (like a zonda F), its a bargain.

and LOL at the judge GTO. the audi RS4, a 4 door family car (granted, with a serious motor), can do pretty much everything faster than the judge.

what kind of fast are you talking about top end or 1/4 mile i know that a jeep srt8 can smoke a beemer that is a very tricky question
why no mods why plain mods are a personal touch to your whip plain is so booooring ferrari is a very fast car lamborgini is also but where are you going to take it to the limit i dont see it ever happening in any time soon unless you have that kind of money to spend on a car or on track time that is also not so cheap i have been in a trans am that would smoke a ferrari f430 in the 1/4 and in top end and was much cheaper with the mods

I'm assuming you mean the fastest production car and not an exotic /my money is on the new 2007 Shelby GT 500 Mustang It has over 500 hp and is fast enough for anybody.
