Most answers are already given. Yes burning with urination, if that is what you have is a sign of bladder infection so called UTI. If you have burning in your vagina this can be a yeast infection. I hope you took precautions to protect yourself for STD (Sexual Transmitted Diseases). Many women have UTI"S when they have a new sex partner. Your body has to get used to the other persons germs...so to speak. Practical tips are to urinate before you have sex and after. Whip yourself from the front to the back when going to the bathroom and drink lots of water instead of sugar holding drinks, including sodas and juices. Vitamin C 4 times a day 2000 mg can help to battle a urinary tract infection. Oil of Oregano is another good alternative. Another test to see if you have a urinary infection is; catch your urine in a clean glass and see if the urine is cloudy and or has a bad stinky smell. Your urine should be clear and not foul smelling. Good luck, do not worry and enjoy your life.

Sounds like a urinary tract infection. I lost my virginity last year and all sorts of terrible things went wrong with me. I had two yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, and a bladder infection. I have never had so many doctor's appointments in my life. Sex is a big nuisance medically. ;) Burning during urination is a sign of a urinary tract infection, for the most part. When I got my yeast infections I also experienced a slight burning discomfort when I peed. However, if you didn't know the person you had sex with that well, or didn't know their sexual history, it could very well be a sexually transmitted infection. Going to the doctor is a good idea, they can treat you for whatever you may have. If you leave anything for too long without knowing what it is, it may become something serious, so yes, see your doctor!

It sounds like an infection, like an urinary tract infection, or bladder infection. I think they have over the counter meds for this now, and drink a lot of fluids and cranberry juice. you may have to go to the doctor to get an antibiotic. Good luck to you

You need to see a Doctor, probably for a prescription for antibiotics. Sounds like a UTI (Unrinary Tract Infection).

It is also possible that you have a yeast infection, which is common and easy to cure. They are caused by an imbalance of acidity levels in a women's genital area, allowing naturally occurring bacteria to get out of hand. (Stress actually increases your likelihood of getting one). It is very important that you speak with a doctor. It's intimidating, I know, but waiting will not help. Just remember to always use your best judgment, and protection, if you plan on having sex.

You might have a bladder infection....but in reality you also might have a yeast infection since you did just have sex for the first time. When it has been awhile since I have had sex.(husband is in the Army, sometimes goes on deployments) I get a yeast infection..The Dr. told me its because his fluids are reeking havok on my "vaginal flora". If it itches also it might be. go see the Dr. If you dont have a Dr. go to your local Planned Parenthood...they will treat you either free of charge or a small fee based on a sliding scale of what kind of income you have.
