You can't compare your baby to any other baby. All babies are diffent and do things at different times. But to answer your question, my first had a full set of teeth, was eating level 3 baby food 3 times a day, she was sitting up on her own but not yet crawling or standing, she really liked her exersauser she would jump in that thing forever. My second just cut her first 2 teeth, was only eating regular food (she started spitting baby food at me as soon as she realized it was different from my food), she was just starting to crawl but not standing yet, she liked to sit in her playpen and just play w/ the noisiest toys in there. Both of them, if they could understand me they ignored me unless I was talking about food lol. Hope this helps.

All babies are different, so I wouldn't compare her to anyone else's. My friend's daughter was doing all sorts of stuff and saying all sorts of words that my son, at her age, would not do no matter how much I wanted him to (he was older than her, and still not saying as many words as she was). Some develop sooner than others. Just let your daughter progress like she's meant to...naturally. If you want to do things to stimulate her mentally, there's always the Baby Einstein stuff, books (my son LOVES books), blocks, and etc., etc. BabyCenter.com is a great place to go to see where your baby/toddler should be at for her age. Just remember, all children are different and will develop differently.

My baby girl is about 8.5 months....

She is standing up and walking around furniture really fast now
She crawls around fast, says Mom-mom-mom and Da-da-da
She has her two bottom teeth
She doesn't understand the word "No"
She is constantly climbing up th eback of my legs, driving me nuts!!
She basically eats whatever we eat... just cut really small
She still doesn't really love eating, and when she does eat food, it's not that much.
She typically sleeps through the night, with the odd wake-up

It's pretty fun watching them grow and learn!!

Firstly - they are all different so don't go stressing and comparing your girl to anyones elses children. It's not fair on the child and Mothers that do that are really annoying!

But, go to www.babycenter.com They give you an indication of what your little one should be up to at the moment.
