Listen to both.
Sometimes love blinds you but people on the outside looking in see the truth. However, only you know the bond that you two have. I would go with your heart.

I wish I knew how old you were. Young people tend to fall in love easily and don't want to listen to others. If everyone around you doesn't agree with this guy, obviously, there's a reason for it. What does your mother think? I always think that if everyone would just listen to their mothers, they would have far less problems...but hey, making mistakes is part of being young and we all learn from them.

Everyone is going to have their own opinion in this kind of situation, or in any kind of situation for that matter of fact. Many people will say he's great for you and others will say he's horrible. If you think about it though, they aren't the one that will have to live with happiness or live with the situation that isn't right. I'd listen to your heart because you are the one who will have to live with it, not them so they will throw at you whatever they want to believe. Good luck!

let me tell you a story. there was once a fox and a scorpion. one day the fox was trotting accross the trail and spotted this scorpion. this scorpion asked him to take him across the river because the fox can swim. the fox was hesitent. he said no because he is a scorpion and as soon as he brings him over the river he is going to kill him. "o no i would never do that assured the scorpion." after several minutes of deliberation the fox starts to feel bad and gently allows the scorpion to climb onto him while the fox safley places the scorpion down. as soon as he placed him down the scorpion stung the fox. the fox was so inferiorated and as he lay dying he gazed into the eyes of the scorpion and asked "why did you do this to me?" the scorpion replied "you knew what i was" the moral of this story is DO NOT do something by your own free will then cry about it later. in life approach major decisions carefully.things can always happen so cover your bases before they do. unfortunatly no one can make your decisions for you because you are not a robot. if there is evidence that he is not trustworthy or you get bad vibes over look any infatuation and/or lust for him and stay clear. if you feel he is good for you then go for it. you live you learn. as far as a friend goes. a friend is there for you through good times and bad. if they are not willing to be there for you when you get yourself in trouble then they are not really your friends and not worth having any ways. good luck to you

Listen to your conscious and your heart. You should beable to tell when someone is playing games with you or if they love you. Sometimes though we just want to have someone love us and hope they do even though we know they may not.
