Thank-you..... but does my anit-virus have anything to do with it?.... because I have these little info boxes on the bottom right side of my screen every so often.... stating that "tracking cookies have been deleted from my computer".

What Does Remember My Password Do?

If you check Remember Password, when you log in, a small file called a cookie will be placed on your computer. This file will contain your User Name and Password. It will allow you to automatically login the next time you visit whatever. You won't have to keep re-typing your User Name and Password.

Please note, if you are sharing the computer you are using to access whatever and check Remember Password, anyone else who uses the computer will also be able to automatically login with your User Name and Password.

Once you are logged in, a logout button will appear next to the tabs on the top of the page. If you click this button, the cookie will be removed from your computer and you will no longer be automatically logged in.

If you have answered no to the prompt in the past and have now decided that you want Internet Explorer to start remembering your password information for whatever, you can turn this prompt back on.
- Click on Tools at the top of internet explorer
- Click on Internet Options
- Click on the Content Tab
- Under Personal Information Click on the AutoComplete Tab.
- Click on the small box to the left of "Prompt me to save passwords" to enter the check mark.

Apparently, when you log out the cookie/password is removed. Its for your protection.

Because you need to go into internet options then click the content tab then auto complete and then check the user name and password box. Don't forget to apply
