acutally it looks much better after at least 30 minutes of application. this is because your body heat allows the makeup(foundation of powder)to blend in and truely match the tone and texture of ur skin. so i tink i\makeup looks much better after it sets. and if it starts feeling crappy i suggest u invest like on a thermal water thingy and spray it on so you'll feel refreshed. hope that helps.

Take it from a professional model of 22 years-Make-up ALWAYS looks better right after application. You don't see photographers "waiting around" for models' make-up to "set" (or or whatever nonsense some of these other responses have been!) They shoot you immediately after application. The "fresher" the face-the better.

I find when i first put it on. But i like it striking. I also don't find it has changed much after a couple hours. Depends on what i'm wearing though since some of my make-up is crappy and i just keep it because i don't have the colour in the good make-up.

When you first put it on because your face tends to build up oil residue after a while and everything goes shiny. Not only that, your eye make up starts to run and your lipstick wears off.

In my experience, the only thing that tends to stay is my blush!

if you are using the right type of make up that suits your skin........ it looks better after it sets.
With the wrong type of make up........ better after you put it on, coz after a while........ it can turn oliy, caky or too much!

make sure your moisterizer, foundation and powder suits your skin! and always make sure that you protect your skin with SPF 15!
good luck....

I think once it sets in, because it mixes with your skins natural oils and skin texture and looks more natural:)

right when i first put it on.

later it gets oily / cakey / settled into skin, and doesn't look as fresh / natural.
