What is it with the current trend for everyone to get tattoos? I don't understand it. So many young people get them and what happens in 10 years time when it is no longer trendy? I think they are ugly and look trashy especially on women. Is there anybody at all out there that agrees with me????

I think there will be a lot of people who will be very sorry they got tattooed. A tat may look OK on smooth young skin, BUT what about in 20 years time. Some women freak out about ageing anyway, so what are they going to do about the old sagging tats? If you see older people with tattoos you will notice all the colour and definition disappears and they look like big bruises. The laser clinics will be doing a lot of business in the future trying to remove unwanted tattoos.

I agree. Especially the part about it looking trashy on women. I think guys can sometimes pull it off, if they pick a simple, small design with no colour in it, but otherwise they are just plain ugly.

they do look bad
a small one on a guy is not real bad but so gross on women

SOME are nice.. i have seen some nice ones. It depends on the person as well..
but i agree - most look trashy.. especially on trashy people.. and ESPECIALLY the coloured ones - ugh..

ditto -- I definately agree. I have two teenager daughterss that can't wait to move out of my house so they can go get tattoos!! NOT under my roof -- it's my way or the highway.

I'm 22 and don't plan on getting any tattoos. I think they are too permanent for my taste. People usually put them in stupid or typical spots and tend to regret getting them later in life. My sis got one on her boob and now regrets it because her boobs changed in size (shrunk due to weight loss). I don't care for tattoos, thats my opinion.

I think tatoos are trashy if they are on display. Like on an arm or something.

i agree with you.. i mean.. tattoos are really tacky.. and it looks so dirty you know?
and also when you get older, it will be all wrinkly and faded..
so nasty..

I think they are grotesque. I could never disfigure my body in that manner!
