- relationships which are inter-generational
- taking chances that may physically or mentally endanger one's self

I can't imagine why your professor would care about my personal opinion, so I'll tell you something that should help you find the answers on your own.
Many things that society considers deviant are adaptive in certain situations. Consider that you're being held hostage, you've been threatened, and you're told that you must kidnap someone at gunpoint. Presto: deviant behavior that's adaptive in that circumstance! Much gang behavior is deviant in society but adaptive in a gang. The behavior of many abused children is deviant, and yet where they come from, acting out may be absolutely necessary for survival.
I honestly don't have an opinion on behavior that "others" consider deviant and I don't. Oh wait... taking a young girl across state lines to get an abortion that she really wants in order to avoid a parental notification law. That would be legally deviant, but in the right circumstances, I could do it with a clean conscience. I'm glad it's never come up, though.

Actually I have never asked others if they think my behavior is deviant so I have NO idea . . .
I do not engage in violence, theft or lying so beyond that, what others think is Irrelevant . . .
I live life by my standards, so I totally do not care what they think !

anything my wife wants do is not deviant behavior
if you have to ask...then don't
