Solve for "t" in 1/6 - 1/3t > 0....

First: eliminate fractions - multiply the denominators by everything...

(6)(3t)(1/6) - (6)(3t)(1/3t) > (6)(3t)(0)

Sec: cross cancel "like" terms...

(3t)(1 - (6)(1) > 0

3t - 6 > 0

Third: add "6" to both sides...

3t - 6 + 6 > 0 + 6

3t > 6

Fourth: isolate "x" on one side > divide both sides by "3"...

3t/3 > 6/3

t > 2
