I have heard Great Wolf Lodge is better than Splash Village. There is a closer GWL than Traverse City (assuming you live in the Detroit area). I am pretty sure there is one in Sandusky, Ohio (where Cedar Point is) and it is only a few hours away.

Great Wolf Lodge is awesoeme! We have went twice now and have been to other indoor waterparks, and nothing else seems to measure up. They have great specials to in the off season.
