What should I write my paper on?

Question

I have to write a two page paper, 4-6 paragraphs long, semi-formal, in the third person & I have absolutely no idea what to write it on... Any suggestions?

Some possible help, my interests are:

animals, pyschology, writing, technology, gay rights, music, tattoos, piercings, jewelry making, reading..

Any suggestions are appreciated, but please try to be serious. Thanks :o)

You might want to narrow it down... but I can break each down and make suggestions.
animals -- animal rights laws, Peta, shelters, catch-neuter-release programs...
psychology -- pick any facet of the human condition, or maybe write something on the history of psychology and psychiatry
writing -- you've got me there.
technology -- how does technology affect how we live? what sort of things can we look for in the future? do we need to be careful with new technologies before we jump into using them?
gay rights -- always a good topic, maybe research other countries that have legalised equal marriage
music -- no suggestions, unless you write a history/reveiw
tattoos -- history of tatooing, or why people get them
piercings -- same as tatooing
jewelry making -- again, history would be good, or maybe look into one type
reading -- what is the likely effect on the population consitering which authours are popular? will they influence how people think? what about recent trends in what people read?

Since you put down animals as your first interest, perhaps you could write a paper on your favorite animal? A little research on the web and you should have plenty of information to write about the animal of your choice. (Personally, I love lowland mountain gorillas and find them a fascinating subject, but that's just me.)

The best way to enjoy writing and researching the paper is to stick with what you know. Tatooing? Write about the history of tatoos. Gay rights? Examine the recent mid-term election results over gay rights throughout the U.S. There are lots of ideas that can simply originate from your interests. Just google them and do a little research and you're off and running.

You will really wow your teacher if you have a solid thesis and clearly state what the paper will be examining. Then offer a few points to ponder, illustrate your ideas with information, and then a strong conclusion to bring it all home.

You should write it on white 8.5 X 11 inch paper.

No really.

Make that your topic.

Do a really amusing paper that starts with, "I was trying to figure out what to write my paper on when the obvious answer struck me: I should write it on 8-and-a-half by 11 inch paper." and from there, go on about the history of paper that led to the standard we use in America today. This is actually a topic you can easily research and find lots of interesting sources on. The creation of paper is a very important topic to historians, I kid you not. Trust me-- just do a little internet research on "making paper" and "history of paper" and such and you'll see it's true.

Animals would be the easiest. Pick a specific animal and write on it's geographical origin, physical characteristics, habitats, behaviors, reltationship to humans, etc. There are a lot of sites online where you could get info.
