Would like to find out the process for milking cows with todays machinery. Such as: how do you clean the teats, how often do you have to milk them, what happens if you don't milk them, who picks up the milk (tank truck?), etc.

If you don't milk a cow the milk either goes nowhere or it goes into a calf.

It takes about 4-5 minutes with todays machenery to milk a cow.

You milk a cow once a day at approx. the same time each day so the cow gets into a comfortable routine.

To clean a cow teat you wash it in warm water with a light soap.
