Do you mean 2x+3=9x ?

If so, move the 2x to the side with 9x
2x+3=9x
-2x -2x

3=7x

divide by 7
3=7x
/7 /7

x=3/7

If I understand your equation correctly: that's 2 times +3 which equals 6; then ? times 9 equals 6. Divide 6 by 9 to get 2/3 (not 1/3).

i can only assume u mean what times 9 = +6
9 times 2/3 that is two thirds of 9 = +6

2 x +3 = +6 = 9 x +2/3

if its 2x+3=9x
then the answer is 7/3
