the lawn mower is the push kind and has 5 hp. is there a way to do this?

yes, but it would require a ton of fabrication, and be very time consuming.

basically, if you have to ask, chances are you dont have the tools or knowhow to do it.

Unless your lawn mower has a horizontal output shaft, or you have a differential/transaxle, I wouldn't use a lawn mower engine on a go-cart. Most lawn mowers use a vertical output shaft.

You'll probably want a rototiller engine instead!

that's conceivable yet not logical. basically get the suited engine. I unquestionably have made one artwork as a results of fact they reported it may not be executed. Allot of machinist artwork making it take place. do not attempt it.
