I have noticed that members of congress want to keep the Medicaid program paying the same amount to phamacutical comapnies. They state it might actually raise prices, show me the proof. The VA (Veterans Affairs) bargains with drug companies and has a SUBSTANTIALY lower drug cost then Medicaid, so why not negotiate drug prices?

Critical issue of skyrocketing prescription drug prices and whether Congress will lift the legislative prohibition that prevents Medicare from bargaining with the drug companies to secure lower prices. Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, had promised to revisit this issue in early January—within the first 100 hours of the new Congress.
What did she do about this issue in those 100 hours?
I missed hear about it.

Congress is simply wrong on everything regarding drug costs. Both parties have failed this issue. Both idealogies are corrupt so it doesn't surprise me that there's argument.Democrats plan to increase Medicaid and tax dollars,Republicans want the escalation of drug prices to remain.Yet both parties don't want us to shop international.Simply put:either slave to government or drug companies....take your pick
