Back in the old days it was called Ethyl, for Ethyl corp who came up with tetraethylead to increase octane.

Hi-test, super, supreme, 91 octane, whatever they call the most expensive in the station. You only need it for certain high compression vehicles. Don't fall for the "run some through occasionally to keep things cleaned out" myth.

anything with an octane rating of RON+MON/2 of 91 counts as premium gas.
