You would run a cord from the audio output of the record player into the microphone jack of the laptop. You may have to look on the internet to find a cord that does this.

Next you would use audio recording software to record as you played the records. You could record an entire album at a time and then use the software to go back and cut each track at the proper place and name it.

From here you would just use your regular old CD burning software to burn these tracks onto CD.
