"CD PLAYER--WHAT'S THAT?" I still use a boombox
and cassette tapes. I also do not have a DVD player but
still watch my movies with video cassettes and a VCR.
I don't think it is necessary to buy every new thing that comes
out when we already have systems that work perfectly fine
It is only the American culture that thinks they need the newest
and the so-called best. Ask any S. American if they still use
a CD player--they won't know what you're talking about.

Sure! Even though mine's so old, it's pretty much broken...but I prefer buying CDs to mp3s, so of course, I'd need a CD player!

I'm sure a lot of people still use CD players - otherwise, how could artists still be selling millions of albums?

I use a Memorex Cd player that has lasted me over 4 years. I use it in my car and since the car only accepts tapes i have to use an adapter.

I still have a CD player, but I rarely use it. Nowadays, people are hooked up to MP3 players and Ipods.

Yes, I listen to music all the time, and I have a ton of CD's accumulated over the years. I listen to CD's in my car mainly. I usually listen to downloads on my computer.

Yup. Whats the point of spending so much money buying an I Pod when there is so much wrong with it. I hear people I know tell me that they need to replace theirs. While my CD player is stil going strong.

No actually I hook my lap top up to my receiver for better sound since my speakers are better on that system, and download songs or listen to a radio station that my Ipod offers.
