Is all of California expensive? Also are there a lotsof job opportunities out there? Also any good places to raise your family? I'm a single Mom and want a nice, warm and safe place to live!

I also live in San Diego. Born n raised... Its super expensive to live here. To shell out for a single family home anywhere in S.D. would equivalent a mansion in San Antonio. Lots of job opp. though, always easy to find a job. I love living here but I could never afford to purchase my own home. Good tips: Don't live south of the 8 freeway... sorry guys but you know its ghetto land...

Certain areas of California are very expensive. The closer you are to the coast the more expensive it is. Are there lots of jobs. Well it all depends on what you do. If you are a landscaper you are going to have a lot of competition. Is it safe. Well that depends on where you live. There are a lot of great places in california. There are a lot of bad places in California.
It is like any other part of the country. Except it is warm it is beautiful. But you have to be a little more specific. what do you do?

matters what part. i live in san diego. really nice but find the right area. yes it is expensive if u dont want to live in the ghetto of S.D.

Most of it is very expensive, unless you like rural/sparsely populated/desert areas.
