Are they the Second Biggest Band in the World EVER? Behind the Beatles off course.

Are they even around anymore? Didn't they peak back in the 80's?

They might have gotten somewhere if they had dropped that git of a lead singer. What was his name? Ono, Bojo, Ojo ... I don't recall, except I remember he was very full of himself.

Boy Jeff, you like this question.

Well, most people would say The Beatles were the best band, for being one of the first and for their influences on other bands.

I think some people may have a problem with saying U2 is second, because U2 is still out there making new albums. I guess to be the best you had to be groundbreaking years ago, such as Led Zeppelin and Queen, what everybody else has been saying.

It's all up to interpretation. I prefer to listen to U2 over the Beatles.

I love U2 but with all due respect, they are not the second biggest band in terms of sales. Led Zeppelin for sure tops U2, how can you forget about them?

Most overrated slew of wankers in the universe. A veritable paean to mediocrity. Somehow loved by all manner of mediocre laymen. Sure, they've spawned a couple of great singles in their career, but their albums are sordidly trite affairs.

It doesn't help that the singer is a posh, holier-than-thou buffoon.

U2 is awesome with songs and concerts.. but i admire them for working as humanitarians in different countries.
