Morrison's shooting is not that good either. Shooting 1/11 vs Rockets, 1/15 vs Lakers, 2/10 vs Hawks, 1/10 vs Spurs ... 36.7% FG? Come on 'Stache. The real issue with him is his inconsistency. In a game he scores 30 pts, then slumped to 5 pts the next. Not to mention a few 2 and 3 point games with lots of playing time.

I agree with Rose (the person who asked the question). Morrison is not that good of a basketball player. He is a slightly above average shooter at best who is not putting up great scoring numbers on a TERRIBLE team. He does not have the passing skills, the rebounding skills, or the defensive skills that other rookies in his class ALREADY have. And he cannot be mentioned in the same sentence as Larry Legend.

Even Larry Bird made a few second team all defensive teams despite being "slow." HE had the BBALL IQ that Morrison lacks...

I agree with you 100% he is terrible at defense. I was watching the Warriors vs. Bobcats and everybody took Morrison to the hoop and took complete advantage of his terrible defense. He made the NBA because more was expected. Warriors ended up winning by 25 points. Wow.

The game is pretty simple. You throw a ball in the air and if it goes in the basket you get points. If you can do that on more posessions than your opponent, then you will win games. Rebounding, blocking shots, steals, are all just means to stop your opponent from scoring and create extra opportunities for yourself.

If Morrison can make baskets he will find a team that wants him, it's that simple. Although there is the argument that the 3 point shot was invented for the white boy ;)

It's really not Morrison's fault because he can ball. It's the coach that want to keep him outside roaming the parameters. Morrison is simlpy following instructions.

Morrison can be utilized a lot more than what is stats currently show. Maybe that will happen in time.

He's a rookie! Defense in the NBA takes some time to develop. He was drafted because he can score. Scoring is probably the hardest thing to do, the other stuff he will learn with time.

There's always a place for a guy who can shoot. That's one trick that can carry a guy a long way. The rest of his game will improve. He's not starting caliber yet.
