13 to the 2nd power is 169. It's the square of it so 13*13=169. If it was 13 to the 3rd power it would be 13*13*13.

13 times 13 equals 169, because 13 to the 2nd power is 13 times 13.

For example, if you had 2 to the 6th power, then you would do:

2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 (which equals 64)

You just multiply the number by itself how many times the power says it to...

5.) 10 to the power of 7: 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10=?
*Hint for #5: The number of the power of tens is how many zeros you have... For example...

10 to the power of 2: 100 (2 zeros!)
10 to the power of 3: 1000 (three zeros!)

the second power is 13 times 13 (169), whatever the power is you multiply it, lets say it was 5 to the 5th power, it would be 5 * 5= 25 ,25 * 5 =125
125 * 5 = 625, and for the fifth , 625 * 5 = 1325.

169. all you have to do is multiply 13 by itself. when ever you have powers, its just multiplying that number by however many times the power says. for instance 2 to the 3rd power is simply
2*2*2
2*2=4 then
4*2=8

I hope u understand my explanation
