Try to think of the most horrific thing happening to you. Sounds bad, but it works.

Think of something that happened in your life that was really sad, and if that don't work then bring a onion and put it close to your eyes. Old actors used to use onions. No joke. And if you really want to cry without onions, just open your eyes wide before the crying cue and try your hardest not to blink them. The drier and harder it is to keep them open the more wet they will get. Oh and another thing, breathe deeply. Pinch your lips together and scrunch your eyes, wipe your eyes and make your voice sound like your really upset. Make your bottom lip quiver. Flare your nostrils if you have to. Being strong and not crying can be more powerful than actually producing tears.

Think of the saddest thing u've ever seen or heard... could be a movie or anything (or make eyes dry from not blinking)
but what u think about has to be sad enough to be convicing to your audience, and since ur acting, u can't use any props during it (so no onions or blah)
u can do that or really, really get into your character. if u do that then it should come naturally
tears actually aren't even necessary, if u make your voice and facial expressions (quivering of lip...etc) convincing enough then it should give the effect u want to the audience even if it's not "really" crying

Your dog just died! GO!

Just kidding. In all reality you have to feel it. You have to "be". As you read the script, put yourself in the situation of the character, and think the thoughts that the character thinks, you will "be". It should flow.

If that doesn't work focus on the back of your throat and tighten it.

If that doesn't work just a dab of Vick's vapor rub smeared near your eyes. . . works every time. Just don't get it in your eyes.

Good Luck! Let me know how it goes!

I would think that you should think of something that is very raw for you that would upset you enough to cry about so it seems more real and not fake.
You have to work yourself up to the moment, be on the verge of crying and then when it is time in the scene then just let it out.

Good Luck

there are various approaches of psychological education that could help you to cry on point. One is "Emotional reminiscence" think of of a tragic experience out of your previous and use it to place you in the wonderful emotional attitude on your character. yet on the grounds which you have no undesirable thoughts (BTW you genuinely might desire to bypass out and get your heart broken or something lol) a greater valuable decision for you is stated as the "Magic If" think of to your self - "i've got not been in my character's place so i do no longer understand how they sense....yet what IF I have been of their place, how do I think of i could sense?" think of how you're able to react and it will sense genuine to you/ If the psychological stuff would not artwork - you may create the emotion via actual workouts. stressful each and every muscle on your physique and quicken your respiratory, screw up your face such as you're sucking on a lemon - actually fake you're crying and finally it is going to come....you only might desire to enable it ensue

Just think of Ben Afleck trying to act. That should be enough to get the tears flowing.

its not so much producing tears that'll make it look like good acting..as long as you create the effect of crying and make it seem believeable and try to feel the character's pain and agony ..it'll look good
