My grandfather is from Louisiana and he told me how his sister married a man when she was thirteen. But that was years ago.

In most states a person can marry at 16 with parent permission, and under 16 they need parent permission and a court order.

You can get married at any age with your parents permission under 18 and over 18 any time. Hope i helped,

Without a parents consent I think all states are now 18, with consent they differ from state to state.

i think it is 18 unless the parents sign okay papers to it.

i think in kentucky its 14 w/ parental consent. texas is 15 i think w/ parental consent and 17 w/o consent from parents (in texas you are an adult at 17...not 18). i dont know about anywhere else though. i think southern states have lower ages.
