I downloaded a "Office2003.iso" file, everything was fine couple of days ago, but these days when I open it, the files in it have something wrong with their format names, for example:
setup.exe becomes setup.ex, and every file miss the last letter of its format name, besides, they can't be renamed in .iso, and I've redownloaded it, it's still the same,
Do you know how to solve this problem, thanks!

An .iso file is an image intended to be burned onto a CD or DVD.....not to offer direct file access..

Use Nero to open the ISO file & burn it on a CD. Install from the CD.

Windows will let you view the names of the files, but the ISO needs to first be burnt to a CD or mounted as a virtual drive before you can access the files. MagicISO is a great ISO burning program. If you prefer to mount it virtually, which means it will show up like a harddrive temporarily and give you access to the files, just search www.download.com for a Virtual Drive or ISO Viewer.

Good luck!

sounds like something isn't converting correctly somewhere alright...I think you might want to try and get the files to download to another computer if you can and see if it happens on another computer...if it does then that will lead to having to get in touch with the IT dept that handles software issues with MS. They will have to see if there is a bug or a corruption of file that you downloaded. BTW~Also you need to make sure that you're downloading the right program for your operating system...sometimes, not always, a different OS will not convert it correctly. Good Luck

Just use filedisk to turn it into a virutal cd rom into your computer.

Search on yahoo for the keyword:

Filedisk drivers

It contains a zip file of all the other info on how to use it.

WAIT...
But i also thought that you downloaded a pirate copy of the MS offices huh? Better just download openoffice.org its free.

Download openoffice.org dpftware at oppenoffice.org
