Yep. A long, long, time ago, we had this terrible ice storm. The power was out. It was the dead of winter, mind you. After the second day without power, the house was freezing. We would sit in the car just to get warm. All day long we wore our winter coats. At night we kept them on and slept in our sleeping bags.
This is a true story.

Yes, I've slept with my jacket and mittens on. The weather gets really cold in the middle of the night at the desert during the winter or spring. I slept in a tent on my camping trip.

I dont think I've ever slept in my jacket or coat. I do often sleep with a light hoodie or sweatshirt on inside my house. these gas bills are too high, so my house is usually on the cold side. I'm always cold at work so sometimes I work with my jacket on.

We arrived at Yellowstone National Park right after the first week in June( I think it was 1990). We traveled in our pickup that had a camper shell on the back. The snow was deep and I am guessing that the temperature was close to 0 degrees. We had our coats. We had blankets, because we had planned to sleep in the back, under the camper shell. We had no reservations to stay anywhere else. Needless to say, we went to bed early, because it was so cold. Even with our coats and blankets, we still were not warm.

I have slept in my coat, and I was camping.

I don't sleep in my coat inside, but it's so cold tonight, it might not be a bad idea!

I wear my zip up hoodie sweatshirt to bed almost every night. I'm too cheap to put the heat past 63 degrees at night, so I've got to dress warm.

I was in my house and the weather was about 10 below, and the furnace broke! Absolutely horrible, the wind was so strong outside that it seemed to find its way through every crack in the walls.
