I don't understand why people want to have love from someone else so bad. I thought I was in love a couple of times but if I was wouldn't I still want to at least talk to them. An ex of mine told me she was in love with someone 1 day after we had sex, I thought she was crazy, but I remember her saying I love you first, and I believed it. Now, I think she'll do the same to the new girl. Why is everybody looking for love? Isn't loving yourself enough? Instead of keep thinking you're in love and continuing to break people hearts

The need for love and acceptance is one of the human race's top 5 needs. It is natural to want to be loved. Your ex may be wanting it so badly that she creates love where there is none, and erases it when it is convenient for her. Saying "I love you" often helps get people into bed with them, and the phrase can often be abused.
Broken hearts are hard to dodge. Love is complicated. But don't shy away from it because you don't want to get hurt. That's part of the journey.
