the 1915-1918 armenian casualties are gonna be recognized as genocide tomorrow in congress... but i am not sure i understand the situation. i know that it wasn't advantageous for the US to recognize it as such because it always wanted to be in good graces with turkey because of its military advantages or something? somebody please explain why the US would choose not to recognize it as a genocide.... Turkish people don't believe it was a genocide either right? they said it was collateral or something? what are the social stigmas around this?

well, firstly, i should say that i m not a fascist and in favour of the solutions with peace. i m just trying to correct a misunderstanding in people' minds cos if people talks about something too much, it seems true but;

DID YOU KNOW THAT;

- There were more killed Turkish people by the Armenians (with Russian incitements) in 1915 when Armenians claim so-called genocide happened, [With these incitements Armenians burned Kurdish and Turkish villages and those people's reaction was the same. The Ottoman Empire was in a war, is there a possibility of genocide, a possibility of a plan, if it is thought fair-mindedly?]

- Armenians reject Turkish dialogue call for a research about this argument, but, they even do not approach to negotiate in this issue,

- The biggest reason of that some countries' acception of genocide (which cannot be in fact defined as) with their laws is clearly politic, so that their benefits dont get along with it, these countries do not want Turkey in the Europan Union, (also to get more armenian voters)

- Another reason is to be very passive of Turkish side which did not take these nonsense claims seriously, despite Armenians increased their claims and demands year by year (increased their number of dead people in their claims year by year, too, what a scandal!), spreading their so-called genocide in every country of the world,

So, why doesn't the Armenian side open their archives?

Therefore, if they define war losts as genocide, we have to make sure whose genocide that was...

The Armenian Genocide DID happen. If it had been recognized then, Hitler's hollocaust would never have happened. He said himself that no one would believe it or notice because of the Armenian Genocide. Many other genocides have happened during the 20th century as well. Yes, the Turks still deny it and the Americans only wanted to have bases put in Turkey...at all cost. I am not Armenian but know many of them. They are truly wonderful people as well as smart, talented, good and good looking and the very first country to accept Christianity. The Armenian Massacre has always bugged me since I first learned about it 35 years ago. We learned nothing of it in school, nothing. As they teach you in Political Science in college...all interest is self interest. I hope to God that the US does finally recognize the Armenian Massacre of 1915. It is only just.

Would we have to hang another head of state? That's a good reason.
Everybody should be heavily armed as a deterrent for genocide.
